Today, I had a delightful surprise—a spacious room with a huge, comfortable bed, impeccably clean as always. A special thanks to the wonderful ladies at the reception, Roberta and Claire, for their exceptional help!

I arrived on the Sunday as was Greeted by Toni on the reception desk.
Very well presented, a warm and professional welcome, exceptional customer service.
Toni made me aware of my allowances for my stay as it was for business, what time breakfast was served, and my check-out time.
I was handed my room key and my breakfast voucher and was told where my room was.
The room was spacious, and clean, very well maintained. Huge smart TV, at least 65”.
Food is good and a wide range to choose from, although along with the drinks it is expensive.
The following few days I had questions regarding my upcoming stay to which Toni and Kerry were there to great me. Again both of them were very well presented and very professional. Toni and Kerry Both answered my questions with accuracy and overall I was very satisfied with the service I was provided.

We had an amazing stay at Holiday Inn basildon last week. Special thanks to Roberta and Fernanda at the reception who went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Thank you ladies and we will definitely be back!!

Room was booked in advance however upon arrival at the hotel to check was told there was no room .
The receptionist asked the Manager to explain and was told that people had failed to check out and remained in their room and there was no one to clean rooms.
Absolutely disgraceful - they didn't even contact me when they realised there was was allegedly an issue.Shocking!
They had booked me into the Premier Inn however did not book there in the first place because the hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment and I didn't want to stay but had no choice given the late hour.
I will never stay in this hotel again.

Hotel is nice enough but they charge £12 per night for parking (which is conveniently buried on the IHG website). Turns it from being good value to a complete rip-off. If you're driving, many better options nearby.

The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious and had all the amenities we needed. What let the hotel down was the bar service- despite being a ‘24 hour’ bar, he definitely was not interested in serving us around midnight when we got back to the hotel from a do. Furthermore, there is some weird policy that you can order pizza but must take it up to your room- can’t eat it in the bar area. It was all very odd.

Booked through a travel agent a week in advance, booked the wrong dates. I attended the hotel a week before my arrival to see if we could change the dates or get a refund, was told no. Ended up staying at the hotel, bed was shockingly uncomfortable, had a sore back and told I couldn’t be moved. Breakfast was average. Staff miserable. Would recommend staying in the premier inn round the corner if your needing to stay in Basildon.

Nice place to stay and room rent was reasonable. Lots of paid parking spot but not free even for NHS employees anymore, which was used to be before 😕

I came all the way from India .. the hotel Staff were soo kind and we have just loved the food the chefs and all the people at the buffet were talking soo good with us..I wanted to specially mention few names Christina , Patricia, marina, Jodie, Adriana, and last but not to forget Sandra ( chef ) thankyou soo much for you delicious food...God bless you all.
